For dedicated server hosting, I've been using Server Concepts. They have been great - really just a great overall experience.

For shared hosting, I've been using GearHost. It's quite cheap and comes with SQL Server and multiple domains. Overall I've had a good experience with them, but I've have had a little bit of downtime. I think if I were hosting a big-money-mission-critical system I would probably go with someone else, but it is fine for smaller, non-critical sites.

There is a company called Blue Genesis that had a pretty interesting, but slightly expensive virtual hosting model. Unfortunately, their salesman was really pesky and flat out lied to me.

Probably like a lot of people, once I started my hosting accounts I didn't really look around. So there are probably some better options out there.

In the 2 months I've been using them, Server Intellect has been very good to me. They came highly recommended to me from many fellow bloggers.

If you can't afford OrcsWeb they're a great bet.

Another vote for Orcsweb. Not the cheapest hosting you'll find but I haven't found better. I've turned down free hosting to keep working with them.

I second ServerIntellect. And of course CrystalTech has been one of the top Windows web hosts for me for the longest time. I've used probably over a dozen Windows hosts and those are the top two that I would trust my online business with. I have multiple accounts with both hosts.

Has anyone else had experience with Blue Genesis? I talked to their salesman today and he was very nice but I'm not sure if they're any good. I'm a designer who needs help with coding, esp css. They offer customizable coding. Thanks for your thoughts.
