The weather was really nice today - sunny and 73. So what did I do for my birthday? Spent most of the day in the Central Library. Turns out to be a nice place for me to do some writing, plus they have free wireless access! I'm still working on the Obfuscation paper (not the blog entries - but an actual 'paper'). Seems my writing skilz are a bit rusty, so I also did a bit of reading in Weinberg on Writing: The Fieldstone Method, which just arrived yesterday. I'lll post a review when I get it finished in the next day or two. So far it has been a pretty interesting read.
Sue took me to the symphony, Sunday for my birthday - so today was really just another day. It was really nice to just walk over two blocks to go and then two blocks back to go out for dinner. Living downtown is really starting to grow on me. Of course since I enjoy the city so much, I'll probably end up getting a job outside of town or one in which I have to travel a lot for ... or both - who knows. Yesterday was the first time I actually got an hour jog in along the waterfront (Myrtle Edwards Park). I am starting to build my times up slowly. Started with around 20min jogs five weeks ago, then 30min then 45min now 60min. So Dave (Spragg), when you come and visit I should be able to keep up with you now!
