So far so good.  I have been running my laptop now for a couple of weeks as non-admin ... but I have yet to do any asp.net development.  So in preperation of that I found this article Developing Software in Visual Studio.Net with non-administrative privileges, need to read that and give asp.net a try.  Anyone have any tips on developing asp.net as non-admin?

Overall (once things are installed) the experience really isn't that different ... the trick is the “once things are installed”.  Like addins to VS.Net. 

I tried to run The Regulator yesterday ... the version I have wants to do all kinds of house keeping in its installed directory, so of course it crashed - need to check for a newer version.
