Forgot I had a few Barnes & Nobel gift cards until my wife reminded me this weekend, so I picked up a couple of books from my wish list:
C++ Coding Standards: 101 Rules, Guidelines, and Best Practices by Herb Sutter
Don't Make Me Think: A Common Sense Approach to Web Usability - by Steve Krug
I figure if I'm learning C++, now is the time to engrain the good habits (besides that I have been reading Herb's blog). The other book has been highly recommended by a few friends of mine (Dave Platt and Matt Casellini).
I think I have probably purchased 5 or 6 books that I have discovered in blogs ... how many books have you purchased that you would not have heard of if it wasn't for reading about them in a blog?
