Interesting Finds this week

Dave Burke - A new Windows Forms project and CommunityServer Detox … I know what you are talking about Dave … only so much time in a day. I use to do technology side projects in my spare time that over lapped into my work and had great success with it. You really get some depth doing that (or at least that was my experience). For almost the past year or so I have been doing a sort of experiment in the opposite. By that I mean, in my spare time projects I do anything that is .Net and not the same technology as work … but of course you can only really get away from the choice of UI. Currently work is WinForms/VB.Net and fun is anything but WinForms and C# or C++. So far the experiment is just starting to pay off. I am thinking that some sort of a critical mass will be close this fall! Translation: Freaking slow when there is no overlap! I'm looking forward to your new spin … who knows maybe I can help you out this time ;)

DonXML Demsak - Philly Code Camp Wrap Up … sounds like it went well down there, wish I could have made it. Don has a great idea for what seems would be a great item to include at code camps: "2 or 3 cabana-like rooms for people to congregate in and talk shop" … sounds good to me. Also Mentoring Service for New Code Camp Presenters

Drewby - Community, Community, Community … title says it all

Thanks for your thoughts on the move, Jason. Only so much time...and so much energy. Interesting how you worked in "anything by work" technologies in your personal time. That takes more effort than to stay closer to what you do during working hours and is very commendable. Keep up the "Intersting Finds." Love'm!
