Boston (and New England) .Net community

I have to agree with Sam Gentile on this one, the Boston and New England area of the country really seems to be growing quite a community.  There seems to be at least one event per week during most months.

We have two .Net user groups (Beantown User Group and Waltham's Boston User Group), there are also a handful of other user groups centered around .Net technology.

We have geek dinners (Nerddinners blog for info), Code Camps, great reps from Microsoft who are always putting events together for us and now a code brew (for the more interactive and in depth type of events put together by some of the people in the list below)

Here is a listing of blogs to watch in the New England area (please let me know if you have anyone to add):

    I recommend...

Duane Laflotte (Job title: Samurai Hacker)

    http://www.criticalsites.com/dlaflotte/

Duane is Patrick Hynds partner in Mischief at critical sites and I try not to miss any of his talks.

I particularly like his Mobile Ticket Acquisition Application that he developed prior to the Red Sox winning it all. I think he called it SCALPER.

Sincerely honored to be on this list. Will work hard to be worthy of it.

You're right about the New England area. Thanks to people like Julie Lerman, the Vermont .NET contingent is plugged in to big time developers and events in greater New England.

Thanks for compiling this list. There are some folks on it who I follow and who I didn't know were in this area! Speaking of which, be sure to put "Jason Haley" on the list of bloggers to watch!
